We just got back tonight and it's late and Jordan and Brandon are already passed out and I am about to pass out. Here is what we saw today:

  • Nation Zoo
  • Holocaust Museum
  • Half the city while looking for a place to eat.
  • Smithsoniem Natural Museum
  • Pedaltaxi to WWII Memorial
  • World War II Memorial
  • Vietnam War Wall Memorial
  • Lincoln Memorial
  • Korean War Memorial
  • The brand new TODAY Martin Luther King Memorial

Let me just say that we hadn't planned originally to go to the MLK memorial. But oh man I am glad we did. It was very moving. See the crowd of people there was just awesome. I know crowd of people and me don't mix but this time it made it all the more special.

We paid for all day passes for the Metro Rail. This was the best purchase of the day. We used and abused that. Even spontaneously jumped on and went somewhere else to find someplace to eat since there is nothing remotely interesting on the mall.

Anyways the bed is calling my name. Have the Capitol Building tomorrow along with the Air and Space museum. We also want to see the Jefferson Memorial and the White House.
